Welcome to IBA Ireland IBA Ireland is the representative organisation in Ireland of The International Bodyguard Association. IBA Ireland is currently been operated by its National Director, Assistant National Director and 2 Area Liaison Officers. At present IBA Ireland is working closely with both Training & Operational Partners for the enhancement of the Bodyguard Industry. Through Joint Initiatives with our Partners we endeavour to secure Furture Employment Prospects for All of our Active IBA Ireland Members.

IBA Ireland Members Past & Present All IBA Members both past and present are asked to contact the IBA Ireland Office in order to ensure that we have all up-to-date and correct information. We aim to ensure that the IBA Ireland Office can assist the members and offer guidance and advice.

Certified International Bodyguard (CIBG) The Certified International Bodyguard is awarded annually (December) and is for Bodyguards who have a proven 250 hours of training pertinent to bodyguard skills. Training must include Firearms, Explosive Search, Electronic Counter Measures & Driver Training. The CIBG is awarded to those Bodyguards who have the minimum required training (250 hours) and on receipt of an Original Research Project on a Bodyguard Related Subject.
